Ellesmere Winter Festival Friday November 24th 2017

Come and enjoy a lovely festive evening. The people of Ellesmere open their shops and the streets are full of people enjoying the entertainment and street traders. Below is last years programme of events and it is anticipated it will run much the same this year. Last years festival started at 4pm with a Christmas Market and Christmas Grotto in the Market Hall. On Friday 24th at 6pm the Tree of Lights was switched on accompanied by Carols.

Santa then arrived on a Narrow Boat before being paraded through the Town with a fantastic Lantern Parade.

6:30 pm Father Christmas arrives by Narrow Boat

6:45 Santa parade through the Town with Fizztastical Fizzgigs Lantern Parade and Street Band.

Food Stalls, Late Night Shopping & Mulled Wine Christmas Market and Brass Band

Sat 18th 10.00-12.30 & 1.30-4.00 and Friday 24th 6.00-9.00pm.
